Terms of Service

TradePilot is a free online duty calculator providing estimated import/export tax calculations. The tool is technically supported by a senior customs advisory team with 43 years of hands-on experience.

All calculation results provided by this tool are for reference only and do not constitute customs, tax, legal, or financial advice of any kind.

• Results are estimates; actual duties are determined by the destination country's customs authority

• Rate data may differ from current actual rates due to policy changes or update delays

• AI-automated HS Code classification may differ from the customs authority's final determination

• Users should not rely solely on this tool's results for significant business decisions

• This service is for legitimate trade inquiry purposes only

• Automated mass querying is prohibited (max 10 requests per minute)

• Use of this service for any illegal activity is prohibited

• We reserve the right to restrict or terminate any user's access without prior notice

The TradePilot name, logo, UI design, and source code are owned by TradePilot. Tariff data is sourced from publicly available official sources (see Data Sources page).

TradePilot is the data collector. To provide query, calculation, case, subscription, and contact services, maintain security, and improve the service, we process product, calculation, feedback, contact, subscription, and LINE case data, as well as IP addresses, browser/device fingerprints, Cookies, and usage data. Data is used for the duration of the service purpose and the periods on the Legal page. Authorised Platform personnel, Vercel, Supabase, Upstash, Anthropic, Google Analytics, LINE, Resend, form abuse-prevention verification services, and automated notification services process data. Processing may take place in Taiwan and wherever needed to provide the service.

Email aaronyu@jumping.com.tw to access, review, copy, correct, stop processing, or delete personal data; we may request reasonable identity verification. Without required data, we may be unable to complete a query, reply, subscription, LINE case, or related service.

Query and feedback records are retained for 6 months. IP addresses and browser fingerprints are used only for abuse-prevention rate limiting and are automatically deleted within 24 hours. Unclaimed LINE cases are deleted after 30 days, and claimed cases are de-identified after 180 days. The `tp_ref` Cookie is retained for 90 days. Other data is retained for the duration of the service purpose, and you may request deletion at any time. See the Legal page for full details.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradePilot shall not be liable for:

• Any direct or indirect losses arising from reliance on this tool's calculation results

• Losses arising from inaccurate or outdated rate data

• Losses arising from service interruption, delay, or unavailability

• Customs fines or delays arising from HS Code misclassification

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
